An Ongoing Exploration of Energy Medicine: Reiki, IET, and Green Light Energy

I’m a Life-Long Student of Energy

The world of energy medicine is scientific, spiritual, and metaphysical. It’s also a little mysterious. The more I explore it, the more curious I become. I’m not an all-knowing expert, just someone who’s been drawn to these healing practices over the last two decades, and I want to keep learning. Today, I’d like to share what I’ve discovered so far. If you’re curious too, maybe my experiences will resonate with you. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

What Even Is Energy Medicine?

When I first heard about energy medicine, I was inspired by a vivid dream to consider what is “visible” and what is “invisible.” Eventually, I was guided to work with my own energy and something I call Green Light Therapy. This insight, I believe, came from Archangel Raphael, the “unseen” energy often associated with healing.

To better understand Green Light Therapy (I go into more detail below), I studied the journeys of other energy practitioners. I booked sessions with established healers, consulted past life regression specialists, and even spoke with psychics. Many times after a session, I’d feel lighter or more peaceful, even if I couldn’t explain why. I’ve come to believe that our bodies are more connected to energy than we realize. And our energy can both help us and if we are not in balance, nag at us.

Reiki: A Popular Modality

My research into other energy healing modalities led me to become a reiki practitioner. I learned that Reiki is about channeling universal energy using universal symbols and my own hands, with the intention of supporting another’s natural healing process. More importantly, I’ve come to understand that healing takes place within the client, in connection with their own invisible energy. As a Reiki practitioner, I simply hold space and allow the connection the client is seeking. In many ways, I act as a channel or even “permission slip” for healing.

Integrated Energy Therapy (IET): Exploring Angelic Support

Another modality I studied is IET—Integrated Energy Therapy. It’s a nonvisible technique developed by Stevan J. Thayer, a former Bell Labs engineer who has written extensively about his experiences with angels. He describes IET as a method to “get the issues out of your tissues.”

I was attuned up to the advanced Violet Ray level of Archangel Ariel through Jill Kemperer, a master practitioner in the Chicago area and author in this field. According to Jill, IET uses the violet energy ray to work with your 12-Strand Spiritual DNA, helping release limiting energy patterns and blocks from your past to create balance going forward. After a session, many say they feel like a weight has been lifted. I now use this therapy in conjunction with my own inspired modality, Green Light Energy.

Green Light Energy: My Own Energy Experiment

What is Green Light Energy? It’s a visual in my mind that when extended to others helps ease pain or lift energetic blocks. Honestly, it sounds a bit like magic. Incidentally, my unseen guides say “it’s all magic.”

The color of this internal beam of light is a vibrant lime green, similar to the image shown above. I see it as a radiant ray. I didn’t create this modality, it revealed itself to me, and I am deeply grateful for it. I use the visual during meditation or moments of quiet reflection. I’ve found it comforting and supportive. While I can’t explain exactly how or why it works, I invite you to try it for yourself and see what you discover.

Still Learning, Still Growing

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from exploring energy medicine, it’s that there’s always more to discover. I don’t have it all figured out, and I’m not sure anyone does. But being open, curious, and willing to explore has at times brought unexpected calmness into my life.

If you’re on your own journey, or just starting to explore, I’d love to hear about your experiences. Maybe we can learn from each other. And if you ever want to try Green Light Energy, I’m here, still learning and still growing, and happy to share what I’ve discovered so far.
